Non-profit making foundation which aims to help English speakers of all nationalities to settle in and make the most of life in The Netherlands. Maintains a comprehensive database of information and a telephone information service, runs educational seminars and workshops on all manner of topics (eg. "How to care for elderly relatives at a distance"), and has various publications designed to meet the needs of the English-speaking community. A good place to meet people and achieve something - they are always on the lookout for volunteers, too.

Clubs:
 
The Netherlands (especially The Hague) abounds with places to go to meet people with whom you can share the joys and sorrows of expatriate life, amongst other things (like getting involved in running the clubs). Most have a yearly membership fee, magazines produced by volunteers, and newcomers mornings.
